How Can We Help You
Doctor Visit Card Applications

As you may be aware, the government recently announced the expansion of free GP care to all children under the age of 8 and to households earning below the new median income threshold. Eligible current practice patients can apply in the coming months as follows:

If your child is aged 6 or 7, you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card from 11th August 2023.

If your household earns below the median income (€47,000 per year after deductibles) you can apply online for a Doctor Visit Card. The extension of free GP care on income grounds will take place in two phases, on September 11th and November 13th.

Myshall GP surgery is a family doctor surgery located in Myshall, Co. Carlow Our surgery is wheelchair accessible and parking is available directly outside the surgery.

Our practice is highly patient focused and we have a multidisciplinary approach to patients’ health care.
We offer a wide variety of medical services to medical card and private patients including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and regular check-ups. We also provide clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, asthma and COPD.
